Job Description:


The Brewer will be working under Raíces Brewery Operations Department with the expectation to produce high quality beer. Brewer’s main responsibility is to aid in production of beer from grain to glass. The Brewer will be involved in SOP implementation of new operations reporting directly to Raíces Head Brewer and work in tandem with the ownership team to perpetuate a positive work culture. Other tasks required in the position involve: lifting, moving, pulling, pushing and tapping, including moving full kegs onto and off of pallets, driving a forklift, climbing ladders, working with chemicals, and working in a safety driven team environment. Members of the team should have a proactive and positive attitude while keeping an immaculately clean work space. This position is very demanding and Production Team members should expect to work between 35-55 hours per week. Schedules are subject to change depending on production requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Meeting with Raíces Ownership and Management team to develop and maintain orderly level of inventories of all raw materials, finished goods and other brewing supplies as needed.
Maintaining SOPs in all aspects of production.

Maintain brewery, state and federal compliance, inventory and brew sheet paperwork.

Clean, sanitize all equipment, tanks and work areas to maintain consistent beer quality.

Wort production on a 15 BBl Direct Fire brewhouse.
CIP and COP of fermentation vessels and brewhouse.
Harvest, pitch and handling yeast.

Dumps and pH checks on product.

Transferring beer from fermentation to bright beer tanks.
Packaging kegs.
Keg Cleaning.
Wort and beer transfers to and from different types of vessels.
Assisting all brewing team members in all aspects of their role.

Attend management meetings to update in-house managers on brewery issues on a weekly basis.
Participate in team meetings.

Adhere to all safety protocols.

Climb stairs, ramps, ladders

Work in small spaces
Possess basic beer knowledge and a good sense of smell, distinguishing flavors, and colors in beer.

Attend required training sessions critical to your employment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:


Must be 21 years old to pour or work with alcohol.
High School Degree.
Two or more years brewing at any size craft brewery.
Valid driver’s license.
Able to lift 55lbs; able to move packages of various weights using tools such as a hand truck or a forklift.
Able to kneel and stoop occasionally.
Able to stand and work for up to 12 hours at a time

Read, write and calculate basic algebra

Basic Computer and Software Skills


Desired Qualifications related to brewing:


One or more years brewing at a similarly sized brewery
Forklift aptitude

Job Description:

Raíces Brewing Company is looking to hire a full-time Program Manager to support Raíces’ vision, public relations, outreach and programming.


The Program Manager will be reporting directly to the VP of Development at Raíces Brewing Co and work in tandem with the ownership team to perpetuate a positive and proactive work culture. This position is very demanding with an expected work load between 35-55 hours per week. Schedules are subject to change depending on programming requirements. Main hours will be during afternoons, evenings, and weekends, although staff and community meetings, and outreach events can happen during day.

  • Coordinate all aspects of planning, budgeting, timelines, implementation, execution, evaluation, and final reporting of Raíces Brewing’s events, activities and programming.

Job Description:

 

Raíces Brewing Company is looking to hire a full-time General Manager (GM) to support Raíces’ vision, values and culture, while providing a safe, proactive and positive environment among Raíces Team and space. The General Manager is responsible for managing daily operations at the Brewery, including beer and service processes, SOPs, equipment oversight, effective development and performance of team members. In addition, the GM oversees inventory, supplies, and optimize sales and profits. GM ensures guest satisfaction is delivered by management and team members providing genuine-respectful hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.


The GM will be reporting directly to the CEO and is supervised by co-owners at Raíces Brewing Co. The GM works in tandem with the ownership team to perpetuate an ethical, positive and proactive work culture. This position is very demanding with an expected work load between 40-55 hours per week. Schedules are subject to change depending on programming requirements. Main hours will be during afternoons, evenings, and weekends, although staff and community meetings can happen during daytime hours.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The General Manager will coordinate, direct and manage day-to-day taproom operations, and enforces policies.

  • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule especially during afternoons, evenings and weekends.

  • Act as an ambassador for visiting brewers, wholesale partners, retailers and others.

  • Serve and talk about Raíces and its products in a fashion that communicates the brewery’s passion for quality, knowledge, and customer service at all times.

  • Analyze taproom performance and provide measurements and implementation to ensure continued growth.

  • Partner with the VP Developing, Program Manager and the Creative to plan, execute and market events in the taproom.

  • Accept deliveries of kegs and packaged beer from Packaging Department and wholesale partners.

  • Update Beer menus to reflect current draft and package.

  • Assist beertenders with ensuring timely service.

  • Update POS terminals via POS software.

  • Possess the flexibility to adapt to fast-paced work style with changing deadlines, to balance multiple projects, and to work well under pressure.
